​Progressive Insurance – Giving A Trucker A Truck

HOUSTON, TX… Army Veteran James Rogers recently received a customized Freightliner courtesy of Progressive Insurance, SelecTrucks/Houston Freightliner and the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund during a special presentation in Houston, Texas.

James Rogers is an 11-year veteran of the Army, which included tours in Afghanistan and Korea. James was injured in a rocket attack. He has been a company driver since becoming a trucker and now he is an owner-operator! James states, “I would like to help other drivers enter the trucking industry and get started.”

Through their “Keys To Progress Program”, Progressive has given over 500 automobiles to veterans in the past and is proud to serve the trucking community as well. Progressive has pledged to donate $1 for each download of a new song, featuring Trey Hensley, named “United We Haul.” The download is free. The site contains stories from professional truck drivers as well as tips about finances, health and trucking in general. It is not designed to try and sell anything.
