Prepass Grows ALERTS™ To Nearly 2,800 Roadway Safety Notifications In 48 States

PHOENIX, AZ… PrePass Safety Alliance recently completed work extending the PrePass safety ALERTS™ across all 48 contiguous states. Motor carriers and commercial vehicle compliance agencies now benefit from nearly 2,800 ALERTS that appear in-cab on the PrePass MOTIONweigh station bypass application. 

 Drivers receive PrePass ALERTS as they approach known high-risk areas on the road helping them to stay alert and reduce speed when applicable. PrePass Safety Alliance works in collaboration with the trucking industry and enforcement agencies to select ALERT locations that best reflect true areas of concern. 

 With rich audio and visual notifications, PrePass ALERTS warns truck drivers of Steep Grades, Gusty Winds, No Commercial Roads, Work Zones, Real Time Incidents, Traffic Congestion, Truck Parking Availability, Rest Areas, and Brake Check Chain-Up Areas. 

 PrePass Safety Alliance offers ALERTS as a no-cost, added benefit of the PrePass MOTION weigh station bypass app, available on Android and iOS powered devices and in-cab telematics systems.
