REEDSBURG, WI… The patented SS Pallet Hook is a very simple but yet very effective product. It is a hook that is designed to fit on the end of an E rail logistics strap that secures to the bottom of a pallet. The other end secures to the trailer wall, holding the pallet to the wall, effectively eliminating shifting cargo.

Michael Stromberg, a former driver, invented the SS Pallet Hook. Mike did LTL work and remembered all too well the challenges of shifting cargo. A number of years ago Mike went to work at Skinner Transfer in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, where he is now Vice President of Operations.

Skinner Transfer served a customer with a palletized product that was problematic about staying secured, costing Skinner Transfer thousands of dollars every year in freight claims. Mike Stromberg, with Skinner Transfer’s help, developed the SS Pallet Hook.

The SS Pallet Hook has been used with great success in the Skinner Transfer fleet as well as at other trucking companies. In fact, Skinner has had no cargo claims with their customer for the past 6 years.
