Kaleb Hammett may only be 21, but he grew up around equipment & trucks and fell in love with them as a young boy. His grandfather Harry Hammett started Hammett Excavation in 1963, and his dad, Gaylon presently runs the office and the excavation side of the business.

Kaleb trucks with one of the hottest heavy haulers around, this 2013 Peterbilt 389, and he usually pulls the 2015 Trail King 55-ton lowboy seen in our photos. The truck was built by family friend Jake Lindamood and it's a rolling tribute to Kaleb's grandfather who passed away in 2014 after battling lung cancer.

This truck is a stunning combination of beauty& beast with a full double frame, dual steering boxes, a 20k front axle, and 53k rears. It features an 18-speed transmission, a C-15 6NZ CAT engine, and a 2-speed rear end with 3:90's for the high and 5:36's for the low. Custom features include a Valley Chrome bumper with a 12 Gauge Customs flip kit a custom rear light bar & front T-bar, and custom Peterbilt steps to the deck plate. Roll On Customs made solid billet aluminum lug nut covers with Kaleb's grandfather's signature and the company name engraved in them! Inside the cab there's a painted floor with logos, custom upholstery, and a number of polished trim pieces.

When he's not trucking, Kaleb enjoys attending truck shows and he credits Evan from Evan's Polishing for helping keep the truck show ready! Kaleb has won a number of awards, including a 1st Place at the 2018 Shell Super Rigs, Best of Show in Dallas at GATS, and Best of Show at the GBATS show at 4 States Trucks. Kaleb Hammett and Hammett Excavation's hot heavy hauler are certainly a winning combination and should be for years to come!
