Hill Constructions Services Dan Hill & Kyle Pelletier, Truck Builders of CT

This stunning blue 2020 Peterbilt 389 tri-axle dump is owned by Hill Construction Services based in Thomaston, CT.  Company owner Dan Hill worked closely with Kyle Pelletier and Truck Builders of CT on this truck, and the end results were nothing short of amazing!

Dan made a list of changes that he wanted this truck to have that his 2018 389 didn't. He had Kyle increase the fuel capacity by mounting the hydraulic tank in the doghouse. This allowed more room for fuel on both sides of the frame, and the fuel tanks were painted by Bosco's Automotive in Enfield, CT. They were then wrapped in stainless by Randy Kaylor & his crew at Pro-Fab Associates in Manheim, PA. Other custom features on this decked-out dump include stainless wrapped battery boxes, a stainless wrapped DPF tank, painted headlights, and a painted 12 Gauge Customs' visor.

The body on the truck is a Brandon Mfg. smooth side dump that was custom built for Dan. It's painted to match the cab and helps give the truck it's smooth lines. Truck Builders of CT up fitted the body on the truck, and it features an internal high lift tailgate along with a Vulcan on board scale system. Other unique features on the body include custom radius flaps as well as the custom cab shield. Custom controls, lighting, and stainless accents round out this incredible truck.

To protect the body, Dan & Kyle decided on a liner inside the dump, which was done by Linex in Fall River, MA. The truck has plenty of power thanks to the 565 X-15 Cummins engine that's paired up with an 18 speed. Blue LED accents were added to light the way on those early morning and late evening loads. This is one dump that turns heads no matter where it goes!
