Crossett, Inc. Shows Appreciation For Their Drivers
In line with the nationally recognized Truck Driver Appreciation week, Crossett Inc. dedicated September 13th-19th to showing our appreciation to professional drivers. The week was spent preparing and serving a hot meal each day for drivers to enjoy morning, noon or night to accommodate drivers on all shifts. Themed days included Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs with meatball subs on the menu, Taco Tuesday featuring walking tacos and BBQ day where hand prepared smoked pulled pork made its debut. Safe driving awards, gifts, goodie bags for the road and raffle prizes were also a part of our traditions for this very special week.
The year 2020 brought an abundance of unexpected turns for our industry. At Crossett we have taken this challenge as a time to overcome, learn and grow. For the very first time in our 92 year history, Crossett trucks could be seen hauling freight and flatbed trailers while continuing to service our customers with their petroleum hauling needs. Thanks to our dedicated drivers we were able to continue to actively work while helping out in the communities we service.
Crossett believes that showing our drivers appreciation ever year is important and with the curves that 2020 has thrown us we made sure to take extra care in this year’s festivities. Our professional drivers stepped up to the plate and continued to provided excellent service as did many other drivers across our communities. Therefore, in addition to giving back to Crossett drivers, we opened our doors to all hard working truck drivers. After all, it was drivers from all companies that helped keep our world rolling while enduring this national crisis. Next year we will be continuing the new tradition of welcoming any and all drivers for a hot meal, a smile and a sincere thank you!
